Unfortunately a side-effect of preparing to move the bbcbasic.co.uk website to a new host is that the ability to test a webapp by clicking on the Test button in the Compile dialogue has stopped working. This is because the FTP password used to upload the app is now considered too weak.
At some point in the not too distant future I will release an update to BBC BASIC for SDL 2.0 with a stronger password, but in the meantime if this issue is inconveniencing you contact me privately and I will give you instructions for changing the password manually.

Re: Temporary failure of webapp 'Test' capability
I'm almost afraid to ask, but to help me assess the urgency of updating BBCSDL to fix this FTP password issue, can you let me know to what extent you use the Deploy as a web application Test facility?Hated Moron wrote: ↑Mon 08 Jan 2024, 10:18 At some point in the not too distant future I will release an update to BBC BASIC for SDL 2.0 with a stronger password, but in the meantime if this issue is inconveniencing you contact me privately and I will give you instructions for changing the password manually.
I'd like to think it was commonly used, I certainly use it at least weekly as a check for program compatibility if nothing else, but there are a lot of 'less adventurous' BBC BASIC users out there, to put it politely.

If nobody replies to this message I'll assume the urgency is not great.
