Hi.
I'm trying to use the Cross Reference utility, but it doesn't seem to work. I click on it and it does nothing that I can see. There appears to be no report generated. There doesn't seem to be anything about file location in the usual help areas. I have used it before, but I can't seem to get it working now.
Matt
edit: just tried other utilities and none of them seem to be working.

Re: Cross Reference
Thanks for the reply. I tried again around ten minutes ago and found that Cross Reference now works. However, none of the others do. (Although some may possibly not depending on the circumstances.)

Re: Cross Reference
Long time ago I had one of the Utilities not working and remember I fixed it by checking BB4W registry settings.
Search the Help for "registry" to obtain the correct locations and then use Regedit to check the keys.
Hope this helps.

Re: Cross Reference
Thanks for this.
Having checked the registry I noticed that, in the HKCU\Software\R T Russell\BBC BASIC for Windows\Utilities key are stored all the utilities and their locations. Checking these, I noticed that they were all through invalid paths. (Not sure why or how it happened.) The only one that wasn't was the Cross Reference that I had found earlier and clicked on - storing it in the default slot 5. Going through the utilities in their current folder corrected the file location in the registry.
However, Cross Reference is still the only one to work.
EDIT: Important note to anyone reading this with this problem: Reboot machine! All utilities are now working.
