With my dear old Archimedes I could create a menu, with submenus. A submenu could be a box into which you could type a value - numeric or alphabetic - and read it with your program.
I can created menus and submenus with BB4W but I have not found a way to create the submenu data entry box. The best I can do is open a separate dialog box when the menu item is clicked on. Am I missing something or is this not a feature of the Windows system?
