I will just add that knowing how those registry entries are sometimes used for 'forensic analysis' it would be highly unwise to modify BBCSDL to remove the VersionInfo items which get recorded (AppName and Company), or even worse to delete the registry entries themselves, because those are exactly the sort of actions that one might expect of malware. I'd rather spam the registry than be seen to be attempting to hide the origin of my program!
