I was not offended just making statements and I feel sorry for your illness.
Human memory is very special. A smell from childhood can call old memories, we thought, we had forgotten.
If human memory can be quantified then fresh events fills very little in comparison to all the memories we have.
I'm born with a very bad short memory and always forget keys, phones ect.
With that in mind I'm for a while trying to produce so clean and documented code as possible. I often write some redundant code becauce it's easier to troubleshot and maintain.

BBC Model B - 1984-1989. 6502 assembler, Unicomal 1988-1994, Some C and C++, Pascal 1990-1994. Bought a copy of BBC-BASIC 2007, but started to program at a daily basis 2019. C++ in 2021.
